Career Details

Leanne has extensive experience in the recruitment and selection process from executive level to operational roles. She has a thorough understanding of the principles of merit-based recruitment and assessing the suitability of candidates against the role criteria.

She has a wealth of practical experience in the development of job descriptions, job advertisements, candidate screening and shortlisting, writing interview questions and work tests, running assessment centres, applying psychometric tests, report writing and reference checking. Leanne has experience in sourcing a workforce for a greenfield site, as well as partnering with key stakeholders to design internal ‘grow-your-own’ strategies in response to industry labour shortages.

Leanne is experienced in supporting executive and line managers to deliver excellent recruitment outcomes including the preparation of high-quality selection reports.

Leanne has also developed a range of new HR policies and practices for growing small and medium enterprises with limited HR infrastructure.

Leanne has delivered a number of crucial change management projects in response to changes in legislation, industry trends, business growth and strategic direction. In particular, Leanne has extensive experience in managing projects to introduce new technology to improve the employee experience including biometric scanning to record attendance, employee self-service, rostering, reward and recognition platforms, and online learning. She has partnered with senior leaders to successfully implement change programs to address areas of concerns from staff culture surveys.

Performance Management

Leanne enjoys working closely with line managers on strategies to maximise workforce performance. She has experience coaching managers and supervisors on the importance of providing regular, constructive feedback and ensuring they communicate clear expectations on performance standards
