For administrative, technical and professional people. You will work with an experienced Senior Consultant who will review your resume and job application in the light of the job you are to be interviewed for. You will meet face-to-face or over the phone for 1 – 1.5 hours. Our Senior Consultant will help you anticipate possible interview questions and prepare for how you might respond to show case your skills and experience. They will also discuss communication and interpersonal techniques as well how to maximise your preparedness and confidence.

For managers and senior administrative, technical and professional people. You work with one of our Principal Consultants who is experienced in recruitment at this level. They will review your resume and job application in the light of the role you are to be interviewed for. You will meet face-to-face or over the phone for 1.5 – 2 hours. Our Principal Consultant will help you anticipate possible interview questions and how you might respond and to present your case for be selected. They will also discuss communication and interpersonal techniques as well how to maximize your preparedness and confidence.

For senior executives. You work with one of our Executive Consultants who is experienced in recruitment at this level. They will review your resume and job application in the light of the role you are to be interviewed for. You will meet face-to-face or over the phone for 1.5 – 2 hours. Our Executive Consultant will help you anticipate possible interview questions and how you might respond. They will also support you in presenting a compelling case for your selection to the role. They will also discuss communication and interpersonal techniques as well how to maximize your preparedness and confidence.

Our consultants are also available to provide a 1 – 1.5 hour interview practice session. Our consultant will prepare by researching the role and the company to which you are applying. They will draw on their many years of experience to prepare possible interview questions, conduct a mock interview and provide you with immediate feedback. You’ll be shown how to draw from your experience to answer questions precisely and impress your future employer. You will also be shown techniques to handle unexpected questions or interview situations.

In certain cases, you may wish to follow up with your consultant for a further preparatory session prior to your interview. This can usually be done over the phone or via Skype. Which package is best for me? Generally, the job you are intending to apply for can help decide which package will suit you. The more senior the position and the more experience you have, the more time we may need both with you and in preparation for your session. While you are free to choose any package you prefer, we have priced our packages dependant on the consultant you receive.

Do I need a follow-up? Many of our previous coaching clients have required a follow up session (usually by phone and email) to ensure they are on the right track. Follow up sessions usually involve a critical analysis and discussion of your redrafted resume and application as well as further advice and refinement. Pre-paid follow-up hours receive a discounted price. You can choose to add a pre-paid follow up when making an enquiry (http://www NULL.meritsolutions NULL.com NULL.au/career-support/job-applicant-coaching/coaching-enquiry/).

Where do I start? To begin, we will need you to fill out our coaching enquiry form (http://www NULL.meritsolutions NULL.com NULL.au/career-support/job-applicant-coaching/coaching-enquiry/). This will allow you to upload your resume, cover letter and job description (if applicable); as well as give us an idea of your time frame and inform of us of any particular concerns you may have. Filling out this form is an enquiry only, not a booking and it is obligation free. If we require more information, we will give you a call to clarify your expectation and goals. From there we will send you an estimate where you will find payment options if you are happy to proceed. Once payment is received, we will forward your details and documents to the consultant who will make direct contact with you. They may discuss with you time and date to meet, any preparation you have currently done and any additional steps you should take prior to your session.

Is there an express fee? No, we do not charge an express fee. Our company is well known for it’s flexibility. We understand that in many cases, you will be notified of your interview and only have a couple of days to prepare; or find the perfect job but applications close sooner than you expected. While it is ideal to have as much notice as possible, we will do our best to find a consultant that can cater for you in the time that you need.

How do the consultants prepare for my coaching session? Upon receiving your documents, the consultant will do one or all of the following: Go through the job description and read through the selection criteria to identify areas that could be targeted in interview; Research the department / organisation you are applying with; Review your application for examples and stories that can be used to illustrate claims.
